Dase luxury lodge Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to Dase luxury lodge. By accessing our website, making a reservation, or using our services (including room bookings, kitchen orders, and hotel facilities), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.


2. Eligibility and Account Registration

  • You must be at least 18 years old to make a reservation or use our services.
  • When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
  • Dase luxury lodge reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or cancel reservations at our discretion.


3. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of Dase luxury lodge services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our services, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.


4. Booking and Reservation Terms

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Dase luxury lodge.
  • Rates are quoted in Nigerian Naira (₦) and inclusive of applicable taxes (7.5% VAT) unless stated otherwise.
  • Check-in time is 2:00 PM and check-out time is 12:00 PM (noon). Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
  • A valid government-issued ID and credit card may be required at check-in for security and incidentals.
  • Special requests (e.g., room preferences, dietary requirements) are noted but cannot be guaranteed.


5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Cancellation policies vary by room type and rate plan and will be clearly displayed at the time of booking.
  • Standard reservations may be cancelled up to 24-48 hours before check-in without penalty (as specified at booking).
  • Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a charge equivalent to the first night's stay or full booking amount.
  • Refunds for eligible cancellations will be processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method.
  • Non-refundable rates are clearly marked and cannot be cancelled or modified.


6. Payment Terms

  • Payments are processed securely through Paystack or other designated payment partners.
  • Accepted payment methods include: cash (at hotel), bank transfer, debit/credit cards (POS), and Paystack online payments.
  • Full or partial prepayment may be required for certain rates or during peak periods.
  • All payments must be made in Nigerian Naira (₦) unless otherwise agreed.
  • Invoices are generated upon request and sent to the email address provided during booking.


7. Kitchen and Food Services

  • Kitchen orders are subject to menu availability and preparation times.
  • Special dietary requirements should be communicated at the time of ordering.
  • Allergies: While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee allergen-free environments.
  • Payment for kitchen orders may be settled separately or charged to your room.
  • Refunds for food orders are at management's discretion and typically only for quality issues reported immediately.


8. Guest Conduct and House Rules

  • Guests are expected to behave respectfully towards staff and other guests.
  • Noise should be kept to a minimum, especially after 10:00 PM.
  • Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas. Designated smoking areas are available.
  • Pets are not allowed unless explicitly stated for specific room types.
  • Damage to hotel property will be charged to the guest's account.
  • Dase luxury lodge reserves the right to refuse service or evict any guest violating these rules without refund.


9. Liability and Disclaimers

  • Dase luxury lodge is not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings.
  • Safe deposit boxes are available for valuables; use is at guest's own risk.
  • We are not responsible for injuries or accidents occurring on the premises, except where caused by our negligence.
  • Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
  • We are not liable for delays or failures in service due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure).


10. Intellectual Property

  • All content on the Dase luxury lodge website, including logos, images, text, and software, is our property or licensed to us and protected by intellectual property laws.
  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
  • The Dase luxury lodge name and logo are registered trademarks and may not be used without authorization.


11. Disputes and Resolution

We strive to resolve all concerns promptly and amicably. If a dispute arises:

  • Please contact our management team immediately to address your concern.
  • If we cannot resolve the issue informally, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action.
  • Unresolved disputes will be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
  • Any legal proceedings must be brought in the courts of Abuja, Nigeria.
  • You agree that any claim must be filed within one (1) year of the event giving rise to the claim.


12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, Dase luxury lodge's total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for your stay or order. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.


13. Modifications to Terms

Dase luxury lodge reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.


14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.


15. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
